What do you mean ‘storytelling’? 

And I don’t mean with posting a paragraph, a picture of some writing, or even a video of you telling a story.  

We’re talking beginning, middle, and end.  

We’re talking short and sweet.  

We’re talking static images (images that don’t move).  

There’s nothing trendier than using visuals to tell a story.  

We can use images and graphics that help you tell your audience a story.  

WHY USE STORYTELLING  

Storytelling is one of the best tools in your handy dandy toolkit.  

Probably your most powerful one.  

Storytelling gives you the opportunity to leave a lasting impression that can 

  • Give new understanding  
  • Changes people’s outlook 
  • Influences change 

BUT HOW DO I USE STORYTELLING 

Simple. 

Focus on how your imagery can tell your story and share your message.  

It could be a single image post that is telling the beginning, middle or end of your story, 

Or  

Maybe an Instagram photo carousel to display the story’s set up, conflict, and resolution.  

Use vivid imagery and hone in on sensory details to help tap into your audience’s emotions or desires.  

Create connection.

Storytelling is the catalyst to successfully sell, persuade, inform, etc.  

Focus on a compelling narrative arc to connect with your audience and convince them of your message. 

Use your usual vivid style and color scheme, include vivid imagery and sensory details, and think with your audience’s engagement in mind.
